Briggs and Forrester’s Johanna Dorey overcame an exceptional field to be crowned Best Plumber Apprentice at the 2017 Berkeley Group Apprentice Awards.
The awards, which took place last week at the historic Pennington Street warehouse in Wapping’s London Dock, celebrate the very best new entrants to the construction industry as well as rewarding established professionals who support new talent. Johanna is working towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship at Berkeley’s One Blackfriars development. She impressed the judges as a committed learner and is already an effective and passionate advocate for the construction industry.
The event included key note speeches from Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills Jules Pipe CBE and Berkeley Group Chief Executive Rob Perrins; both of whom praised the inspiring stories behind this year’s award winners and runners up.
