The Liverpool Regeneration Contractors Group is a voluntary meeting of contractors working in the Liverpool City area. The aim of this initiative is for group partners to work collaboratively for the creation of jobs, apprenticeships and to maximise project opportunities for companies in the local area. The LRCG is seen as "a trailblazer and is focusing on developing a blueprint for others to follow, which can be replicated in other areas of the region."
The Briggs & Forrester Warrington office is involved in this scheme, and Ged Doolan Regional Director, is the chair for the Mechanical and Electrical cluster group. He attends bi-monthly meetings with the ultimate aim to have a positive economic and social impact on Liverpool, which will see £1bn of regeneration work taking place in the city in the coming years.
