Briggs and Forrester Living are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the latest phase, Block D and Energy Centre, with developer St George City at their London Dock development.
The area is being transformed into a mix of social, affordable and luxury homes. Living will carry out the full mechanical and electrical design and build on 133 apartments and the energy centre.
Block D is split into D1 and D2, D1 will rise to level 12 and D2 to level 10. The mechanical and electrical services will include gas, boosted cold water services, heating distribution, dry risers, internal rainwater, air conditioning, small power, lift supplies, security, access control, CCTV installation and testing and commissioning.
The construction of the new build energy centre services began in May, and will provide heating, cooling and power to the 133 apartments, and later serve the rest of the London Dock development. Block D is due for completion summer 2020 and the energy centre will be completed later this year.
This project continues Living’s collaborative relationship with St George in London, as they are currently working on projects such as One Blackfriars and Battersea Reach with the developer.
