The UK is set to launch an arms-length government agency to oversee infrastructure planning, with a former transport secretary to be appointed as its inaugural chairman.

Today we have twelve technical trainees starting their BTEC Level Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment at EAS Mechanical Limited, Northampton.

We wish all of our trainees all the best on their first day today.

Briggs & Forrester Special Projects Limited officially turns 25 years old today!

On this day back in 1990, we registered at the Companies Registration Office in Cardiff.

To reach the quarter of a century achievement is one we are very proud of, and we look forward to many more successful years ahead.

Four members of the Briggs & Forrester team attended the Kier Charity Endurance Day last week.

The team had a great time at this fantastic event, which raised funds for The Kier Foundation, who do wonderful work with charitable causes throughout the UK.

A tremendous day that we were proud to be a part of, well done to everyone who joined in on the day.

We are very proud to be experts in what we create whether that be infrastructure, engineering, low energy solutions or special projects. 

We don't often comment on the other end of the scale, demolition, but today opposite our Northampton HQ we have see the coming down of a building that has sat adjacent to us for many a year. 

What was the base for Metcalfes and AT Tools will soon be no more and we look forward to seeing a new development opposite our offices very soon.

Low Energy Consultancy, part of the Briggs & Forrester Group, has recently undertaken a site inspection on the 50,000 square foot AMEI building in Dallam Lane, Warrington.

The facility will see Air Source Heat Pumps and PV on the roof of this five-storey building which has been designed to provide start-up businesses with the workspace they need.

Briggs & Forrester have been awarded the Dowty Propellers Factory Fit Out project in Gloucester

The project has an M&E value of £5.5m and is being delivered for Wates.

The Dowty Propellors business employs approximately 250 people, and is a world-leading supplier of composite propeller systems for a wide range of civil and military aircraft.

Briggs & Forrester will design, install and commission all mechanical, electrical and public health services to suit the new facility.

The duration of the works is estimated to be approximately 16 weeks.
