Bioscience, Willmott Dixon, Nottingham

Briggs and Forrester is working with Willmott Dixon to create new state of the art bioscience facilities in Nottingham city centre. The 50,000sqft five-storey building will be fitted with biology and chemistry laboratories and ancillary space for commercial leasing to both start-up and existing, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the bioscience sector. Briggs & Forrester is providing full building services installation including ventilation, fume extract, air-conditioning, lab gases, lighting, small power, security and access control.

Combined Energy Solutions new contract East Village London

Exciting times for our sister company, maintenance provider Combined Energy Solutions. Not only have they been awarded a new contract to support 24/7 maintenance for a prestigious scientific company in Cambridge, they have also had further success with two longer term clients.

Atherleigh Park, Manchester

Mental health remains a challenging topic and the development of new support services is key to providing better quality of care. Briggs and Forrester is currently working with Kier Construction on a project in Leigh, Greater Manchester for a new mental health hospital. Battersea Reach Briggs and Forrester and St George project

Briggs & Forrester MEP Ltd is pleased to announce that it has secured the contract to provide the installation of mechanical, electrical and public health services for Meridian & Nautical Houses, Battersea Reach, by St George South London.

University of Cambridge training primary school

Briggs and Forrester has recently been M&E Consultant for the University of Cambridge’s first university training primary school.

This Willmott Dixon project, part of the ongoing development of the North West Cambridge area, features a unique circular one storey building with diverse learning spaces. There are easy to control ventilation systems and heating systems that help to generate circulation, aiding those with breathing problems such as asthma.

Kevin Mason, Briggs & Forrester, Warwick Half Marathon April 2016

Congratulations to Kevin Mason from Briggs and Forrester MEP division for completing the Warwick Half Marathon on April 3rd.

Kevin ran this, his first half marathon, in 1h:46m:40s and raised the fantatsic total £830 for the British Heart Foundation. As Kevin said afterwards, "I was certainly thinking of the donations when climbing the last hill at 18km!"

CES maintenance contract Vauxhall Bridge London

We’re proud to announce that our sister company Combined Energy Solutions has been awarded a three year contract for the maintenance of a landmark residential building near Vauxhall Bridge, London. Combined Energy Solutions provides specialist support for planned and emergency service and maintenance requirements.

The two-man team will be responsible for the maintenance of the building’s common plant systems in the public areas, including electrical, ventilation, air conditioning, access control, water hygiene, lightening protection and fire alarm.

Mike Stanton interview Back in the black at Briggs and Forrester

Independent M&E contractor Briggs & Forrester Group is on track to achieve its three-year target of building a £250m turnover business. The firm returned a pre-tax profit of £3.6m in the year to 31 October 2015, bouncing back from a £2.7m loss after clearing legacy contracts the year before.

Chairman Mike Stanton said the business was on track to deliver turnover of £195m this year after achieving revenue up 8% to £164m last year.

There was a fun atmosphere in the offices on Friday 18th March when everyone 'dressed down', or up in some cases, to raise funds for Sport Relief. Our current total stands at nearly £300 - well done everyone for supporting this worthy cause - and having some fun too!
