You will work in conjunction with the Electrical Compliance Manager, assisting in the development and coordination of correct and best practice, electrical safety & quality control processes throughout the company. You will act as an Authorising Engineer and enforce the company’s Electrical Safety Procedure, enforce and monitor all quality processes relating to inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations undertaken by the Company. You will act as technical authority with regard to electrical compliance & quality. Key accountabilities will include: Support the Principal Duty Holder in maintaining the Company’s NICEIC registration. Implementation and maintenance of the company’s Electrical Safety Procedure. Implementation and maintenance of the company’s NICEIC Approved Contractor registration. Complete inspection & testing work on site as and when required by the site teams. Ensure compliance with procedures for electrical safety. Appoint Authorised Persons in conjunction with the Compliance Manager & Operations Director.
• Qualified electrician with broad experience of the electrical contracting industry • Must hold a C&G/EAL BS 7671 (current edition) certificate and C&G/EAL Inspection, Testing & Certification Certificate. • Knowledge of BS 5266 – Emergency Lighting, BS 5839 – Fire Alarms and other related British Standards and Codes of Practise. • Possession of a current Driving Licence. • Strong leadership & communication skills • IT skills • Must be a team player
£19.50 per hour + Company Vehicle + Pension + 31 Days Holiday + Benefits
