Low Energy Consultancy (LEC) is seeing a vast increase in activity associated with the construction industry, particularly relating to new build commercial projects. To continue our excellent level of compliance and thermal analysis service to our clients, our multi-discipline building services consultancy practice is looking to expand. Within our office locations set in London and Birmingham, the practice intends to appoint Senior Energy Assessors with strong client facing skills to support our London and Birmingham teams. Applications are invited from talented Building Physicians looking for a new challenge and to join a young and dynamic team working alongside an already growing M&E Contractor – Briggs & Forrester Group.

Qualifications: 
The ideal candidates will be experienced IES or TAS Modellers with experience working in a mechanical and electrical building services design environment. An advantage would be someone with industry links to the surrounding areas of London and Birmingham.
Attributes/Skills: 
The appointed person will be disciplined and able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise schemes in order of importance and deadline, work quickly and effectively whilst maintaining high quality workmanship.

Role:
We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Revit MEP Co-ordinator in our Engineering Services Department at our Northampton head office. This is a great opportunity to join our expanding team reporting to our BIM manager. Your main responsibilities will include production of all working technical drawings, preparation of clash detection files, Revit models/CAD drawings from stage 3 through to Stage 5 construction. Due to our varied workload, you will have the opportunity to gain experience on a wide range schemes.

We wish to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to enable further growth of our highly successful team. This position is ‘hands on’ and will involve a heavy design involvement as well as being the ‘Lead Design Engineer’ on assigned projects. Candidates will need to demonstrate a basic understanding of both Electrical & Public Health systems and the design principles involved. This is a permanent position with strong career prospects.

Reporting to the Chief Estimator this position will be based in our Northampton offices and is intended to provide support to our mechanical estimators with Design and Build tenders.

Must have gas safe certificates & valid CSCS for work available in the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Milton Keynes.

To co-ordinate and ensure, correct and best practice electrical safety & quality control processes are carried out within the company and to act as the Senior Authorising Engineer for the company’s Electrical Safety Procedure. Represent the company as the NICEIC Principal Duty Holder (& Qualified Supervisor) and to act as the focal point and technical authority for all electrical quality & compliance issues across all projects.
Role:
A mechanical estimator is required to send out enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors. Take-off the drawings and input into ESTIMATION (Training given). Carry out an analysis of received quotations to ensure the equipment / specialist is compliant with the tender information. Complete a tender analysis including preliminary costs. Take the master tender letter and summary and customise them to suit the requirements of the submission and more importantly incorporate any specific clarifications that are poignant.
