Low Energy Consultancy (LEC) is seeing a vast increase in activity associated with the construction industry, particularly relating to new build commercial projects. To continue our excellent level of compliance and thermal analysis service to our clients, our multi-discipline building services consultancy practice is looking to expand. Within one of our new office locations set in Birmingham, the practice intends to appoint a qualified assessor with strong client facing skills to support our Birmingham team. Applications are invited from talented Building Physicians looking for a new challenge and to join a young and dynamic team working alongside an already growing M&E Contractor – Briggs & Forrester Ltd.
Reports To: 
Associate and Technical Directors
The ideal candidate will be an experienced IES or TAS Modeller with experience working in a mechanical and electrical building services design environment. An advantage would be someone with industry links to the surrounding area and the North.
The appointed person will be disciplined and able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise schemes in order of importance and deadline, work quickly and effectively whilst maintaining high quality workmanship.

We’re looking to expand our current IT Support team with an Group IT Infrastructure Engineer, with proven experience in; Networks, Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, & Active Directory. We wish to appoint a Mechanical Estimator to join our regional northern bid team to enable further growth of our highly successful team. The candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, cost plans, attending mid and post tender meetings and post tender control. You will be expected to interface with both our existing and prospective new clients. This position will involve the day-to-day management of the tender process to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met.
We’re looking for an Assistant Electrical Estimator to join the estimating department in our Special Projects business. This is a great opportunity to receive mentoring by one of our experienced estimators who will guide you through the estimating process and evaluate your skills and where your focus lies. We’ll support you in working towards managing your own quotations from start to completion. In time you’ll have the opportunity to secure your own projects, where you’ll be expected to liaise directly with the client and our contracts team.
