Bamfurlong Specialist Operations Centre delivered successfully by Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services

Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services recently completed the £2m mechanical, electrical and public health services contract for the redevelopment of the Bamfurlong Specialist Operations Centre in collaboration with Willmott Dixon.

The project consisted of the delivery of a new operational hub, kennels, stable and equine block for Gloucestershire Police. The new facilities provide fit for purpose office and operational accommodation fit for 21^st century policing.

The redevelopment of the existing site and buildings allows the constabulary to have all of their units in one place for the first time, provided substantial savings and allowed them to meet their environmental commitments by using a brownfield site and reducing environmental impact assisting the project in achieving an A+ rating.
