Briggs & Forrester Special Projects complete works on new Mayfair office development

Based in the prestigious Mayfair district, 61 Curzon Street is a new mixed use development consisting of offices and a retail unit. Standing at 8 storeys high, the new offices have been delivered to a Grade A specification.

Working in collaboration with Blenheim House Construction, Briggs & Forrester Special Projects were responsible for carrying out the mechanical, electrical and public health services. Mechanical works included VRF air conditioning, ventilation, domestic services, BMS controls and gas services. Electrical works included LV distribution, internal and external lighting, general power, fire, voice, intruder and refuge alarms, CCTV and standby generator.

The Georgian style building was originally constructed as residential flats but was refurbished and extended in the 1980’s for office use. Demolition of the existing building commenced in 2017.

With sustainability in mind the building achieved an Excellent BREEAM rating. Cyclists will benefit from the space and are catered for with a dedicated lift, secure internal storage room, showers and changing rooms.
