Technical apprenticeships

As a company that is renowned as one of the leading players in the building services industry, we feel a strong responsibility to shine a light on future talents and provide opportunities to help develop their skills.

Briggs & Forrester offer a variety of apprenticeships that will put you on the right track for your future career. Whether you’re interested in estimating, operations, design, procurement, planning, or commercial, you’ll find something in our programme that will suit you.

We’re proud of our apprenticeship programme and work hard to open the door to those who are ready to make serious progress in their career. The programme has produced some of the best and brightest, who have been recognised with awards from World Skills, H&V News, BESA and The Worship Company of Plumbers.

Health and safety is our number 1 priority – we are highly accredited including ISO 9001, 45000 and 14000 and run our own behavioral safety initiative called OUR highlighting the importance of safety in how we act.

Career progression

As part of The 5% Club we are committed to achieving 5% of our employees in earn while you learn positions. We are currently exceeding this thanks to our commitment not only to our apprenticeship scheme but to providing further training or apprentice opportunities to our existing employees including support of additional recognised qualifications and chartered schemes such as RICS, CIM and CIBSE.

In addition, we provide regular and mandatory health and safety training which is monitored by our in-house health and safety department, this includes training such as SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS and task-specific training.
