Phase 1 of this care facility provides acute adult inpatient accommodation for up to 48 patients.
The buildings include new separate male and female accommodation with individual en-suites together with facilities to promote improved physical health and wellbeing for patients.
Phase 2 is 42 en-suite rooms for those being cared for by the Later Life and Memory Service (LLAMS). The new facility increases the quality & number of beds now available at Leigh Infirmary, where the Trust currently cares for patients.
The site will include facilities to promote physical health and wellbeing, communal areas, a cafe, landscaped gardens and a nature trail.
The project was procured and delivered under P21+ NEC3 – Option C form of contract.
