Cranfield University relationship continues for Special Projects

Acting as Principal Contractor, Briggs & Forrester Special Projects have successfully completed the installation of air source heat pumps at Cranfield University.

The project saw the full design and build installation of 2 combined 1MW air source heat pumps to provide renewable heat to the University’s campus heating system along with the installation of power supplies, a BMS system and interconnecting pipework from the pumps to the main district heating.

Following several successful projects with Cranfield University as Principal Contractor, Special Projects have also recently secured phase 2 of the project which will commence on site in October.

Again acting as Principal Contractor for the full design and build of mechanical services installation of 2 combined 1MW air source heat pumps and a 1MW water source heat pump to provide renewable heat to their campus heating system.
