Double award for Briggs & Forrester on the Fusion21 decarbonisation framework

At the beginning of 2022 procurement body Fusion21 announced a £750m national decarbonisation framework. Briggs & Forrester Special Projects and Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services South West region have both secured a place on Lot 2 of the framework for Public Buildings and education.

The framework, which will support the design and delivery of energy efficient measures, has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of public sector projects for schools, NHS trusts and local authorities including blue light organisations.

In particular focus will be services that have a large impact on energy efficiency including power, heating, renewables, thermal fabric improvements and building management systems and appointed suppliers are committed to working to the new PAS2038:2021 standard.

The tender process was highly competitive and has identified the best contractors for our members to use for the delivery of both domestic and non-domestic retrofit schemes to the latest standards.”
