This year has been a busy and successful period for the Briggs and Forrester Group, with turnover for 2014/15 of £160M. Turnover for 2015/2016 is forecast to reach £200M, and will represent a doubling of turnover over the past five years. Secured orders amount to 82% of the forecast and are supported by continued geographic expansion across the country.
We have recently secured our largest ever contract, One Blackfriars with St George, an iconic 170m tower in London with a value in excess of £30M.
Our growth could not have been achieved without our dedicated, highly skilled personnel and the support of our valued clients and supply chain.
The Briggs and Forrester Group currently employs over 700 staff and continues to invest significantly in technical and personal development training through a number of well-structured courses. It is encouraging to see an increasing number of young people joining our business and embarking upon a variety of careers in both technical and practical subjects.
During the past year we have supported numerous charities and individuals both locally and nationally, including a large donation of £17,000 to Ups and Downs following our Golf Day in the summer. We will continue to focus mainly on local charities.
Our main objective has always been to keep the business financially strong and sustainable, and our strategy focuses on customer relationships, with quality, service and competitiveness at the forefront of our approach. Client satisfaction, repeat business and long-term relationships are our aim on every project.
