This year, working in collaboration with Kier, Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services completed the MEP services contract on the Keynsham Riverside development in Bath. The redevelopment included the transformation of the ageing leisure centre into a more modern and welcoming facility.
Engineering Services commenced on the delivery of the MEP contract in 2018 which was successfully delivered from the Briggs & Forrester Bristol and Exeter offices. The team were on site for 24 months and achieved practical completion in March 2020.
Engineering Services installed the mechanical, electrical and public health works to the project. This also included cladding to the existing office accommodation and shell & core works forming 94 new residential apartments, included the full scope of the associated mechanical and electrical services.
The redevelopment saw the refurbishment of the swimming pool, studio spaces and the addition of a new soft play area, cafe, teaching pool, improved changing rooms, revamped squash courts, sports hall and enhanced fitness suite.
