The new 7,082 sqm mixed use project will comprise of a brand new leisure centre and seven retail units that will be built on the former multi-storey car park.

The two-storey building aims to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and will include a 25-metre swimming pool, learner pool and a spectator area, with a barrel vault roof light that will allow for natural light in the pool area. There will also be a health suite, gym and multi-purpose rooms, as well as a café, reception and offices for staff use.

The new development aims to positively impact Neath, encouraging local people into the town centre and also attracting visitors to the town. The redevelopment will help support the recovery of the town centre post COVID-19.
