Briggs & Forrester complete MEP works on Kampus garden neighbourhood in Manchester

Briggs & Forrester Living have completed the mechanical, electrical and public health services on the £250m Kampus garden neighbourhood developed by Capital & Centric and HBD in Manchester.

As a MEP Residential specialist, this Living division of Briggs & Forrester Group were responsible for the £17m mechanical and electrical service package over 5 blocks. This included two new build 15 storey blocks, re-modelling of an existing 14 storey block and two Grade II listed buildings.

The scheme delivered 534 one and two bed apartments, utilising both traditional and podded bathrooms, as well as a dedicated energy centre, management suites and a car park. In retaining the existing listed warehouse buildings and 1960’s tower, the scheme has transformed a disused area of the city into a vibrant new garden neighbourhood.

Glen Hardman, Regional Director at Briggs and Forrester Living (North) comments “The Kampus schemes have been a great project for our teams to bring our listed building experience to this fantastic city centre scheme and to demonstrate the sector specialism of our Living division whilst working alongside Capital & Centric, HBD and their Professional teams.”
