Briggs & Forrester Special Projects have achieved practical completion on 333 Kingsland Road, London development in collaboration with Thornsett. Special Projects delivered the mechanical, electrical and public health services contract for the new mixed-use development in Dalston.
Set on the former Kingsland Fire Station site, the new mixed-use development provides 68 apartments made up of 34 one-bedroom, 31 two-bedroom and 3 three-bedroom units. There is a retail space and a new build primary school accommodating up to 350 pupils.
The building services include a Low Temperature Hot Water heating system, gas fired boilers with a Combined Heat and Power Unit, Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery systems, domestic services, small power, fire alarm, low energy lighting, access control & security, Photo Voltaic installation and lightning protection.
