Briggs & Forrester Living have been awarded the mechanical, electrical and public health contract on Urbanest’s latest student accommodation development in London. This will be the second project that Living have secured with Urbanest, following the successful delivery of their student accommodation project in Hoxton.
The Vine Street development consists mainly of a 656 student bed scheme with subsequent café and 50,000 sqft of business incubator and office areas. A defining feature of this build is the exhibition space of an excavated 1000 year old roman wall, which will be ran by the Museum of London. Contracted by Balfour Beatty, Briggs & Forrester Living will provide the full scope of mechanical, electrical and public health services.
Living will commence on site in September 2019 with completion planned for summer 2021.
