Briggs & Forrester Building Services Maintenance Service Technician Steve Ellis recently took part in a cycle ride from Duston to Lands End, all in support of Cancer Research.
Alongside his team 'Duston Old Cranks' which included 7 other members, Steve set off on Thursday the 13th of June and returned on the following Sunday. Altogether the Duston Old Cranks cycled approximately 345 miles over 3 days and completd 19,400ft of climbing.
On the 7th of June, Liverpool Regeneration Contractors Group (LRCG) hosted their 5-a-side charity football event at the Powerleague pitch located in Liverpool.
Staff from the Briggs & Forrester Warrington office took part in the game, entering with a mix of players from Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services and Living.
The team included: Alun Bunday (captain), Paul Healey, Ian Hughes, Paul McGhee, Dan Hynes, Alistair Cato, Ryan Spencer and David Sparks.
Five of the Briggs & Forrester Northern region team attended the ‘Meet Your Future’ event on Friday 7th June 2019, at AJ Bell Stadium, Salford in partnership with The East Manchester Academy to provide careers advice and support to student’s aged between13-15 years from local Manchester schools.
It was a speed networking event where the students got the opportunity to hear stories from professionals in a diverse range of industries and roles, and discover the variety of the career opportunities available to them.

The team have donned their PPE and have their tools at the ready, to see who can wire the best apartment Distribution Board. There are 12 competitors taking part, battling to see who will win and be named the ‘Best Distribution Board installer’.
