Briggs & Forrester Living have secured the MEP contract on the latest phase at Middlewood Locks in Manchester for developer Scarborough Group International. Working in collaboration with contractors BCEGI, Briggs & Forrester Living will deliver the design and installation of the mechanical, electrical and public health services to Blocks G and H which contain over 500, one, two and three bed apartments across two 9 and 10 story blocks.

In 2018, Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services were awarded the mechanical and electrical building services contract on the ambitious Llys Cadwyn development in Pontypridd, working in collaboration with Willmott Dixon.
On the 14th of February, the project team successfully handed over Building C of the development in line with the program and to the full satisfaction of both Willmott Dixon, the Main Contractor and the client, RCT.

Adding to their growing profile of successful residential projects, Briggs & Forrester Living recently completed the MEP services contract on Moda Living’s Angel Gardens development in the heart of Manchester. The development is situated at the centre of a 20 acre mixed use regeneration project, bordering the Northern Quarter of the city.

Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services have successfully completed the building services on Unit H at the Unity Campus, Sawston, Cambridgeshire.
Engineering Services worked in collaboration with Morgan Sindall who in turn delivered the project for local developer, The Howard Group. The project team worked to a contract period of 5 months, delivering the refurbishment and fit-out of the existing warehouse to form a new office space including new core areas and mezzanine floor.

A huge congratulations to Claire Palmer, Senior Electrical Design Engineer, for being selected as a finalist for this years’ WICE Awards in the ‘Best Woman in Electrical and Mechanical Engineer’ category!

Briggs & Forrester’s turnover jumped to £262.2m in 2019 as the company continued to record growth.
Turnover increased from £222.4m in 2018 and £181m the year before. The company announced 12 months ago that it expected turnover to keep on rising and hit £300m in 2020

In conjunction with BCEGI UK, Liverpool John Moores University and CIBSE, Briggs & Forrester Living recently took part in a student site visit held at The Lexington, Liverpool.

Briggs & Forrester staff from the Warrington Office attended a careers fair at Trinity Church of England High School, Manchester. The careers fair was an all-day event attended by years 7-11 and the sixth form students.
We're delighted to have the opportunity to provide insight to our industry and show students what a career in engineering can offer them.
