Principal Contractor works at Engine Production Facility awarded to Briggs & Forrester Special Projects

Briggs & Forrester Special Projects have secured the Principal Contractor works at BMW Group’s Plant in Coleshill. The project will see the survey, strip out and replacement of thermal wheels which have been heavily worn from the production environment.

Special Projects will provide the full design and installation of 10 replacement thermal wheels including isolation of mains power to AHU, removal of the existing thermal wheels, craning new components up onto the roof to rebuild the units inside and reconnection of power and BMS.

All the works will be delivered within a live manufacturing environment with careful planning to ensure the health and safety of all personnel and smooth running of the plant during the duration of the project.
