Project Win: Saïd Business School
Briggs & Forrester Special Projects is pleased to announce the award of a significant mechanical services upgrade at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, delivering critical improvements to the building’s ventilation infrastructure.
The project involves the full replacement of five existing Air Handling Units (AHUs) located within Plantrooms 02 and 03. These works are the first phase of a rolling upgrade programme to replace end of life equipment.
Acting as Principal Contractor, Briggs & Forrester Special Projects will manage the supply and installation of new VES air handling units, including the integration of Trend control systems, associated electrical modifications, new air conditioning installations, and comprehensive ventilation cleaning across all newly installed plantroom ductwork and equipment.
The programme has been designed to deliver a fully coordinated and compliant installation, providing the school with a modernised plantroom environment that supports long-term operational efficiency—while maintaining strict containment to avoid disruption beyond the defined works area.
“We are delighted to be awarded further repeat work for our valued client at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. This appointment reinforces our long-term investment in strategic frameworks and reflects the trust placed in our team to deliver high‑quality, compliant engineering solutions.”
Tim Cunningham, Managing Director.
