Added Value

The project achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ by implementing energy efficient services. These included a displacement ventilation solution for the heating and cooling and include low pressure heating, BMS, electrical distribution, small power, fire alarm, data, security, photovoltaic, lighting and audio visual installation.

The new services infrastructure connected to the existing facilities at the Curzon building including the Biomass boiler. In order to achieve a ‘smart’ building status, specialist systems such as lighting, communications, security and power are fully integrated.

What we did for this project...

Our dedicated in-house BIM resource aligns with our customer requirements and improves the co-ordination, efficiency and delivery of our specialist services and skills. We promote UK and International BIM standards and are committed to remaining at the forefront of BIM, developing progression within our sectors and achieving accreditation at the highest levels. BIM is a business-wide focus, an essential element in the quality of our work, the philosophy of our people and the delivery of our projects.

We have a fully integrated design and build capability across the group, including 3D coordination and Building Information Modelling. By developing the design and being fully involved in the early stages of a project, we can provide timely design solutions and verification.

The group provides a range of specialist skills encompassing engineering, design, installation, and maintenance. The combined experience, knowledge and expertise of all five divisions enables the group to develop and implement fully-integrated solutions for some of the most complex and demanding mechanical, electrical and public health engineering installations.

We guarantee a smooth handover transition with the project team remaining the main point of contact, the development of commissioning and training plan and regular visits from our team in the months after practical completion.
