The brief

The new facility includes the provision of a new 20m indoor leisure pool with flume rides and a water playground, gymnasium, fitness studio, spinning room, sauna, steam room and associated changing spaces.

The project included all MEP services including ventilation, heating, cooling, CHP, domestic services, above ground drainage, Small power, Lighting, Data, Lightning protection.

To ensure the specialist designs for the leisure pool was achieved successfully Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services worked collaboratively with Kier to complete areas and organised prompt delivery of materials. 

We ensured all mechanical, electrical and public health services were installed in a timely manner to ensure the fully operating Holiday Village was not impacted during the project and to assist with the earliest possible handover of the facility. 

What we did for this project...

We have a fully integrated design and build capability across the group, including 3D coordination and Building Information Modelling. By developing the design and being fully involved in the early stages of a project, we can provide timely design solutions and verification.

The group provides a range of specialist skills encompassing engineering, design, installation, and maintenance. The combined experience, knowledge and expertise of all five divisions enables the group to develop and implement fully-integrated solutions for some of the most complex and demanding mechanical, electrical and public health engineering installations.

We guarantee a smooth handover transition with the project team remaining the main point of contact, the development of commissioning and training plan and regular visits from our team in the months after practical completion.
