The project is part of a multi-million-pound regeneration scheme in Woking, just outside of London, and is a joint venture between Woking Borough Council and Moyallen Developments. Victoria Square is inclusive of 3no. new build tower blocks, 2 residential and 1 hotel occupancy, and new commercial spaces to conjoin the project with the existing Woking Town Centre.
Briggs & Forrester were responsible for the MEPH shell and core and fit out contract to residential blocks 1,2 and infrastructure works including commercial units. The apartment blocks, also known as The Marches, reach 30 and 34 storeys in height and include a mix of 429 residential units. All of the apartments are rental tenure and also pet friendly. The new extended retail areas opened to the public in March 2022 and included a Boots store and M&S.
Some specific elements of the MEPH works included electrolytic water conditioner, BCWS, underfloor heating, sanitaryware, small power, external lighting and access control.
