Our principal contracting capability has been developed in response to increasing demand from clients with projects requiring highly serviced refurbishment, critical plant replacement, infrastructure and fit-out works.

A local service with national resources
Our regional ones, located throughout the country, enable us to offer a local service with the supporting resources of a national contractor. Our strength lies in the breadth of our experience and the depth of our knowledge. These attributes encompass a range of specialist skills in consulting, design, building information services (BIM), engineering, installation, commissioning, and maintenance throughout the UK.
With collective knowledge of the building services industry, Briggs & Forrester Special Projects has experience of a wide variety of projects in the public and private sectors. Briggs & Forrester Special Projects work closely with appointed design teams to provide advice on low energy, high-performance buildings, and systems.
Working with our design partners we offer design and build capability including 3D coordination and Building Information Modelling. By developing the design and being fully involved in the early stages of a project, we can provide timely design solutions and verification.
We provide a range of specialist skills encompassing engineering, design, installation, and maintenance. The combined experience, knowledge and expertise to develop and implement fully-integrated solutions for some of the most complex and demanding mechanical, electrical and public health engineering installations.
We guarantee a smooth handover transition with a dedicated point of contact at the end of the project, the development of commissioning and training plan and regular visits from our team in the months after practical completion.
We offer the design, installation and commissioning of the full range of mechanical and electrical building services, providing turn-key solutions including buildersworks, groundworks, specialist finishes. Operating as principal contractor we take responsibility for all aspects of project control, client liaison and Construction Design and Management (CDM).
