Briggs and Forrester Special Projects are an MEP contracting business who work with end-user clients and regional main contractors delivering high-quality projects with values typically between circa £500k and £3m. With a long history and an established client base, the business has a strong reputation within the industry and exciting growth plans for the future. Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will be responsible for managing multiple electrical installation projects across the commercial, residential, health, education and industrial sectors. Typically, projects are located within a 50 mile radius of our Northampton head office, although travel further afield from time to time may be required. Duties and responsibilities will include: • Procurement of materials and labour • Management of directly employed and sub-contract/specialist labour • Management of design process • Overseeing HSE activities • Liaising with clients – of particular importance when acting as ‘Principal Contractor’ • Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring a high quality of electrical services installation • Programming, planning and reporting of all project management activities
• Building Services project management background with strong electrical engineering skill set • Management of multiple projects – ideally with an individual electrical value of £1m and above • Strong client facing skills • Good level of I.T literacy and strong organisation skills • A desire to embrace training and development and progress within a business • Due to the nature of this role you will need to be willing to travel to our project sites as required This is an exciting opportunity to work for a market leading business and progress your career.
