To carry out various maintenance and statutory compliance tasks to ensure building remains in good working order and remains compliant. Fix and maintain mechanical equipment. Tasks include plumbing work, upkeep and heating and air conditioning system maintenance across Central London.
• Complete statutory compliance tasks including emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, water temperature monitoring and flushing of little used outlets Weekly operation checks of both business critical and safety systems including generators, sprinklers and smoke vents. • Liase with sub-contractors and ensure they are familiar with site rules and work in a safe manner at all times • Report any building/plant issues to line manager • Keep client informed of all issues on site • Liaise with tenants alerting client to any issues • Carry out regular meter reads • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and door access control systems. • Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences • Receives, sorts, and files monthly sub-contractor reports and statutory logs
